This disclaimer outlines the terms and conditions under which The Shooter Ready Project provides services related to active shooter response training, safety and security team training, security consulting, and site security assessments. By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. No Guarantees of Safety or Security

The Shooter Ready Project provides training, consulting, and assessment services to enhance preparedness, awareness, and response capabilities. However, these services do not and cannot guarantee the prevention of harm, injury, or loss during actual emergency situations, security incidents, or any other event.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes

While we strive to deliver the highest quality of training and consulting, The Shooter Ready Project makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding specific outcomes, including but not limited to the prevention of harm, successful intervention, or the effectiveness of implemented recommendations.

3. Assumption of Risk

All participants and clients acknowledge that engaging in safety and security activities, including training and assessments, inherently involves risks. The Shooter Ready Project assumes no liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during or after the provision of our services, whether directly or indirectly related to our recommendations or training.

4. Client Responsibility

The implementation of safety and security measures, protocols, and procedures remains the sole responsibility of the client. The Shooter Ready Project serves as a consultant and trainer and does not assume control or oversight of any client operations or personnel.

Clients are specifically advised that they must develop their own standard operating procedures (SOPs) and/or policies regarding any use of force, possession, carrying, or use of firearms by employees, contractors, or volunteers. These SOPs or policies must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. The Shooter Ready Project does not provide legal advice and does not accept liability for any failure by the client to comply with such laws or regulations.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Shooter Ready Project, its employees, agents, and representatives shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of our services or reliance on our advice, training, or assessments.

6. Indemnification

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Shooter Ready Project, its employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to the client’s use of our services, failure to implement recommendations, or failure to comply with applicable laws or regulations.

7. Acknowledgment

By engaging with The Shooter Ready Project, you acknowledge that safety and security are dynamic fields influenced by unpredictable factors, and no training or assessment can account for all possible scenarios. You understand that ultimate responsibility for safety and security rests with you and your organization.

This disclaimer constitutes the full understanding between the client and The Shooter Ready Project and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
